Dog rules change by season, by hour, by fifty metres of shoreline. We read the signs, the municipal rules and the small print, then say it in one clear sentence you can trust.

Anyone can list where dogs are allowed. We look for the places worth the trip: the ridge with the view, the forest that stays sheltered in rain, the beach that empties after nine, the café that will still be open when you get back.
